It boasts a 5.5-stop increase in shutter speed and a minimum focus distance of 1.3 m for crisp close-ups. With a mere 70° turn of the zoom ring, you can quickly zoom between extreme focal lengths while achieving beautiful background compression.
To improve video recordings a click-less control ring that supports smooth operation and minimises operation noise and suppresses focus breathing. It also features an internal zoom mechanism, nine aperture blades, and two custom function buttons. Its optical performance is supported with 25 elements in 17 groups, including six ED glass elements to reduce chromatic aberration.
Add a Z Teleconverter to increase the zoom range - it will still maintain superior resolution. Aimed at FX-format Z-mount mirrorless cameras, this full-frame lens is also able to work with DX-format models where it has a 270-900mm equivalent focal length range.
